Team Leading Qualifications ILM is one of the largest specialist Institutes for team leading and management development qualifications and membership in the United Kingdom. Currently around 70,000 candidates register for ILM qualifications, which accounts for well over half of all qualification-based team leading and management training undertaken in the UK, at all levels. Membership as at September is in excess of 17,000. The ProgrammeThe ILM Team Leading Programme is a nationally accredited team leading qualification accredited by: The Institute of Leadership & Management - The ILM is the UK’s premier body for team leading qualifications, with a reputation for providing high quality, industry relevant programmes. In 2007-8 almost 75,000 learners registered for an ILM qualification. Management Standards Centre - funded by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills, the MSC is responsible for developing world class team leading and management skills within the UK and is responsible for awarding Team Leading Apprenticeship qualifications. Is the team leading programme right for you?The Programme is designed for Team Leaders and Supervisors within any Industry. The team leading programme will enable suitable candidates to assess knowledge and understanding of key activities relating to a team leader / supervisor’s role, as well as facilitating the development of skills to improve personal effectiveness. It is ideally suited to those moving into a supervisory or team leading role for the first time or for those with little formal team leading / supervisory training. Programme details The team leading rogramme comprehensively covers the full range of responsibilities of a supervisor / team leader. It aims to provide the foundation for their formal development and advancement in this role. The programme is designed to improve delegates’ performance in the organisation through its strong focus on their specific job role. The full team leading programme consists of an induction and 6 units, plus tutorial support. Each unit has been specially selected to optimise the benefits and returns to the employer and the individuals who undertake the programme. The whole team leading programme will take 9 months to complete and require attendance at one workshop per month (venue to be confirmed).
