Management QualificationsThe ILM First Line Management Training Programme is a nationally accredited management programme accredited by: The Institute of Leadership & Management - The ILM is the UK’s premier body for leadership and management qualifications, with a reputation for providing high quality, industry relevant programmes. In 2007-8 almost 75,000 learners registered for an ILM qualification. Management Standards Centre - funded by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills, the MSC is responsible for developing world class management skills within the UK and is responsible for awarding Management Advanced Apprenticeship qualifications. Is this management training programme for you? The management training programme is designed for Heads of Department, Middle Managers and Operations Managers within any Industry. The management programme will enable suitable candidates to assess knowledge and understanding of key activities relating to a manager’s role, as well as facilitating the development of skills to improve personal effectiveness. Programme details The management training programme comprehensively covers the full range of responsibilities of the Head of department and Operations manager. It aims to give managers the foundation for their formal management development and advancement in this role. The programme is designed to improve delegates’ management performance in the organisation through its strong focus on their specific job role. The full management programme consists of an induction and 12 units, plus tutorial support. Each unit has been specially selected to optimise the benefits and returns to the employer and the individuals who undertake the programme. The whole management training programme will take 12 months to complete and require attendance at one workshop per month (venue to be confirmed).
